Legend Bolivia: Solve the Cage and Pressure-Pad Puzzle
Open the Bolivia temple exit by positioning the cages and activating all three pressure pads in Tomb Raider: Legend.
What opens the temple exit?
All three pressure pads must be held down together. Two movable cages supply the weight for two pads; Lara stands on the remaining one. The outer pads release the side mechanisms, while the middle pad operates the door.
Put the cages on the upper ledge
Deal with the jaguar below before dropping from the central walkway. Pull the cage out from beneath the seesaw, then push it onto the low end. Return to the steps and jump onto the raised end to throw the cage up to the ledge. Check that it actually lands there before climbing back.
Move that cage onto the middle pad. A second cage is already upstairs near the back wall. Push it onto an outer pad, then stand on the unoccupied pad until the opening animation finishes.
Leave by the climbing route
The open door is above floor level. Look for the climbable mechanism and ledges rather than attempting a direct jump across the room. Collectibles are optional detours; solve the gate first so you know which route must remain accessible.
If nothing moves: check that both cages are centered on their pads. Merely rolling a cage across a plate does not keep the mechanism engaged.
