Legend Bolivia Redux: Final Battle Preparation
Prepare health pickups and use Excalibur for the short final confrontation in Tomb Raider: Legend.
Prepare before the boss checkpoint
Bolivia Redux returns to the stone dais. The opening mercenary fight leads into the final confrontation, so use this short opening to organize health rather than rushing straight through it.
Make a manual save at the first checkpoint. Some defeated soldiers drop health packs. The later checkpoint starts the creature battle; reloading there can remove pickups still lying on the ground. Retaining the earlier save gives you a way to replay the opening fight and obtain those supplies again.
Use the weapon the story has just assembled
Excalibur is the central weapon for the finale. Keep Lara moving and follow the enemy’s openings rather than treating the encounter like a normal rifle duel. Read the on-screen interaction prompts during the closing sequence; do not substitute a button sequence from a different controller version.
Keep the finale save separate
Avoid overwriting your only pre-fight save while experimenting. The reference also records a historical issue after leaving this level for Croft Manor, reported particularly for the PC version. That warning is useful context, but is not evidence that every PS3 copy has the same bug.
